De vorige zomer wist Jessie Ware onze discoharten doen smelten met ‘Free yourself’. Lukt haar dat nu ook met haar nieuwe singel? Jessie vertelt: “For me, ‘Hello Love’ is probably the most sentimental song on ‘That! Feels Good!’ It was a pause from all the madness and fun across all the other tracks on the record.” De Britse disco queen vervolgt:
“I’m really proud of this song. I am so lucky that I get to accompany many people through special poignant parts of their lives and in my head this was a song that like many other of my older songs, maybe turns up on somebody’s wedding day. Wishful thinking. It’s a song I feel so lucky I get to perform for the rest of my career. It’s a celebration and one of my favourite songs I’ve even written.”
