Jade Bird lanceert de video van “I Get No Joy”. De single is de voorloper van het het album met de weinig inspirerende titel “Jade Bird”. De plaat verschijnt op 19 april. De single ‘I get No Joy’ is gelukkig veelbelovend! Een maand eerder, op 13 maart, speelt Jade Bird in het Amsterdamse Paradiso. Over de nieuwe single zegt de 21-jarige talentvolle Britse zangeres:
“This song is about the stream of thought that runs through your head at all times as an over thinker,” comments Bird. “It’s about how that gets in the way of being present in the moment and ultimately ‘getting no joy’ and about the frustration of everyone’s cliché of happiness not making you feel fulfilled either.”
