It’s here! De Amerikaanse metalband Slipknot dropt vandaag de nieuwe single en video ‘Unsainted’. Het is het eerste ruige voorproefje van hun album We are not your kind’’ , dat verschijnt op 9 augustus. De release volgt vijf jaar na het album ‘5: The Gray Chapter’. Deze plaat was de eerste zonder de oorspronkelijke leden Paul Gray en Joey Jordison. ( Grey overleed in 2010)
“This is the most time we’ve had to write a record, and work stuff out together,” zegt gitarist Jim Root. “One of my inspirations this time around was those artists that recorded full length albums – not just songs. While the industry is moving toward singles, Slipknot wanted to make an album experience, front to back.”
