Sam Feldt en Kate Ryan bundelen hun krachten! Vandaag gaat “Gold” in première. Het is voor Kate niet haar eerste samenwerking met een DJ. Voor Avicii`s “Run Away” leende zij ook al eens haar stem. Sam brak in 2015 door met een cover uit van “Show Me Love” van Robin S. uit 1993. De plaat behaalde de vierde plaats in de Engelse hitparade en de 21ste in de Nederlandse Top 40. Een jaar later werd “Summer On You” met Lucas & Steve bekroond met de platinastatus in Nederland.
Kate Ryan over haar samenwerking met Sam : “I choose my collabs wisely, and I haven’t released many of them in my career,” aldus de zangeres tegenover Billboard Dance. “I’m so happy Sam and I got to work together on this song. I had the melodies and a basic idea for the song, but it needed something extra. It was a challenge for me because ‘Gold’ has a more indie feel and a bittersweet mystery and magic to it that needed to be captured.
