Na het succes van zijn eerste twee solo albums – As You Were en Why Me? Why Not. – keert Liam Gallagher terug met een nieuw en verfrissend studio album; ‘C’MON YOU KNOW’. Met invloeden van The Beatles, The Stones en de Beastie Boys beloofd het nogmaals een album vol zomer anthems en creatieve wendingen te worden. Ook brengt hij vrijdag zijn live album ‘Down By The River Thames’ uit, dat werd opgenomen tijdens een van zijn meest memorabele liveshows in de lockdown periode.
Liam over het album: “It’s a bit peculiar in places, which is good: 80 per cent madness and 20 per cent classic. If you’re going to start doing stuff like that on your third album, it helps if there’s a bit of Covid about. Because if it doesn’t take off, and people go, ‘I’m not sure about this, it’s a bit weird,’ we can blame it on the virus and go back to the classic stuff.”
