Voor 15 februari heeft Dua Lipa haar nieuwe singel ‘Training season’ aangekondigd! De zangeres, die momenteel nog altijd in de top tien van de Hitzound 40 genoteerd staat met ‘Houdini’, kondigt de release met een teaser aan op TikTok. Het nummer ‘Training season’ is geïnspireerd op een reeks niet zulke geslaagde dates. “The last one was the final straw,” aldus een openhartige Dua Lipa. “The next morning I arrived to the studio to Caroline [Ailin] and Tobias [Jesso Jr.] asking me how it all went and I immediately declared ‘TRAINING SEASON IS OVER,’ and like the best ‘day after’ debriefs with your mates, we had a lot of laughs and it all quickly came together from there.” Maar Dua Lipa voegt er aan toe dat de inspiratie om ‘Training season’ te schrijven niet een weerspiegeling is van haar eigen liefdesleven.
