Aan het einde van elk jaar weet ABBA te scoren met het feestelijke ‘Happy new year’. Het Zweedse viertal heeft op het nieuwe album ‘Voyage’ ook een kerstnummer staan en dat wordt de nieuwe single: ‘Little things’. Björn Ulvaeus vertelt in een statement: “Benny (Andersson, co-writer) tells me he didn’t think of it as a Christmas song, but I, the minute I heard it, I said it cannot be anything else. “It is early, early Christmas morning. The stockings are hanging right there and then this couple wakes up.” In zowel Engeland als Nederland kwam ‘Voyage’ van ABBA binnen op nummer 1 in de album lijst. ‘Little things’ check je later vandaag nieuw in de TIP 40.
