Florence + the Machine doen goede zaken in eigen land met de release van ‘Jenny Of Oldstones’, de huidige single, dat afkomstig is van de soundtrack voor de laatste soundtrack van Game of Thrones. Het is voor de 2e maal dat Florence op een soundtrack van Game Of Thrones staat. De zangeres werd ditmaal hoogst persoonlijk benaderd door David Benioff en D.B.Weiss.
“We’ve always been huge fans of Florence’s music, and the Season 2 trailer with her song ‘Seven Devils’ was possibly the most powerful we’ve ever had,” aldus Benioff en Weiss in een statement. “So the opportunity to hear her otherworldly voice on our show was always at the forefront of our minds. We’re still pleasantly shocked that she agreed to sing ‘Jenny of Oldstones,’ and we’re in love with the result.”
