Op 2 november komt “Walls” uit van Barbra Streisand. Het is haar eerste nieuwe album sinds meer dan tien jaar. Als voorproefje bezingt de zangeres en actrice het Amerikaanse vrijheidsbeeld in “Lady Liberty”. Het is uitgebracht als haar nieuwe single. “The Statue of Liberty’s official name is ‘Liberty Enlightening the World,'” schreef Streisand Facebook. “For 124 years now, in triumph and in tragedy, her beacon of light has never dimmed. She represents eternal hope… that’s what this song means to me.”
