“The Minute” is de nieuwe single van Maverick en Selah Sue. Een Belgisch onderonsje dus…… Maverick is een upcoming DJ en producer uit Leuven en werkte o.a. al samen met Woodie Smalls. Met Selah Sue werkte hij wel vaker samen. Zoals op haar vorige plaat “Reason”. Maverick: “Selah and me have been writing music together for a long time. ‘The Minute’ feels like one of those tracks where we totally meet in the middle, trying to bridge the gap between hip hop, electronics and soul. I have tried to blend a laid-back hip hop groove with classic analog synths and the ever so beautiful Rhodes sound. Selah’s enigmatic voice and heartfelt lyrics bring enormous warmth and texture to the track. Grateful to be able to work with such an amazing artist.”
