Nieuwe disco grooves van Sophie Ellis-Bextor! De Britse zangeres brengt op 2 juni haar nieuwe album ‘HANA” uit. Voor de plaat was ze geïnspireerd door een reis naar Japan. Hana betekent in het Japans dan ook zoiets al bloesem. Van het album is er alvast een hele fijne frisse nieuwe single uit: ‘Breaking the circle’. Voor zowel het album als de single werkte Sophie samen met Ed Harcourt. Over haar nieuwe single zegt Sophie tegenover BBCRadio 2: “’Breaking The Circle’ is inspired by those late-night moments you have, where you question everything and feel a buzz of adrenaline about what tomorrow might bring. It’s urgent and dramatic and optimistic…the perfect introduction to the new album.”
