Er gaan sterke geruchten, dat a.s. vrijdag de nieuwe single verschijnt van Lady Gaga met Chic`s Nile Rodgers. Het zou gaan om “I Want Your Love”, één van de grote Chic classics uit de seventies. Het nummer is afkomstig van Chic`s eerste nieuwe plaat sinds 26(!) jaar. En het wordt er eentje om je vingers bij af te likken, want op “It`s About Time” staan een aantal grote samenwerkingen op stapel. Behalve Lady Gaga bijvoorbeeld ook Elton John, Emeli Sande, Craig David, Mura Masa en Hailee Steinfeld.
Nile Rodgers: “I came up with the album title before David and Prince died, and maybe even before Michael died, or right after. Then I find myself talking to Stephen Hawking about how time is the most important measurement in the universe and, of course, I’ve always loved a double entendre in a title and obviously it’s about time I put out an album.” Hij vervolgt: “I’ve survived cancer twice.
