UB40 – Champion

UB40 is terug met een nieuwe single: ‘Champion’. De guest vocals op de track zijn van Dapz on the Map en Gilly G. Het nummer is in Engeland verkozen tot anthem of the Commonwealth Games 2022. Deze Gemenebest spelen vinden eenmaal in de vier jaar plaats en dit jaar is dat van 28 juli tot en met 8 augustus.  Frontman Robin Campbell: “We are proud to be representing the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games with the official anthem Champion. Birmingham represents the best of global Britain and it is our job to showcase this to the world.” Later dit jaar toert UB40 door Engeland en Ierland ter gelegenheid van hun 45-jarig jubileum.
