Wij zijn al een tijdje fan van Ten Tonnes en daarom zijn we wat blij met zijn nieuwe single ‘Dancing alone’. Deze Britse singer-songwriter is de jongere broer van George Ezra. Muzikaal hebben Ethan James en George niet zo veel overeenkomsten, afgezien van de aanstekelijkheid en hit potentie van hun nummers. “This is the title track of the new album and one of the main foundations I built the rest of the record off,” zegt Ten Tonnes over zijn nieuwe single. “It’s a dark, atmospheric song dealing with isolation and outsiderness. I had so much fun layering the textures and building it up to the guitar solo and final chorus. It’s one of my favourite songs I have ever written and I think it shows a completely different taste of the album and highlights the breadth of the songwriting. And you can dance to it, what more could you want.”
