Taboo dropt de video van zijn nieuwe single en dat is niet zomaar een single en zomaar een video. THE FIGHT is een prachtige persoonlijke en emotionele boodschap. In 2014 werd Taboo geconfronteerd met de diagnose kanker : “I felt shocked, I felt confused and the first thing I thought about was my kids. The first thing that came to mind my was, ‘Am I gonna live to see my kids grow up’?” Hij is gelukkig helemaal hersteld. THE FIGHT schreef hij met zijn vrienden Karlina Covington en Joshua Alvarez: “The song itself is a vehicle to give people comfort, hope and inspiration,” he explains. “The fight can be anything, it doesn’t have to be cancer. It can be relationships or any obstacle to get over.”
