Snow Patrol is terug, maar of het een succesvolle comeback wordt is maar de vraag. Geen radiostation draait hun nieuwe muziek en dat is een regelrechte schande. De band dropt de Mike Crossey Mix van de single “What If This Is All The Love You Ever Get?” De track is afkomstig van het album “Wildness”. Dat de terugkeer van de band zolang heeft geduurd, had vooral te maken met frontman Gary Lightbody, die in deze periode een flinke depressie kreeg en niet van de alcohol kon afblijven.
“I drank a lot back then and for many, many years after it. I would disappear into a bottle for sure. That’s how I dealt with my depression, I didn’t really deal with it, I just drank it away”. De Noord-Ierse/Schotse band werd in 1993 opgericht en brak door met hun album “Final Strow” (2002). Daarna volgden hits als “Run”, “Chocolate”, “Chasing Cars” en “Just Say Yes”.
