P!NK lanceert op 27 januari haar nieuwe single ‘Trustfall’. De track is de titelsong van haar aankomende album, dat uitgebracht zal worden op 17 februari. ‘Trustfall’ is de tweede track van haar 9e plaat, die op single uitkomt. Die andere is ‘Never gonna not dance again’, waarmee P!NK internationaal nog altijd veel succes heeft. “I took time,” zegt P!NK over het album. “I had time, and I had a lot of really devastating things happen. My son and I got really sick with COVID. That sort of distilled down for me what actually matters. And it takes a crisis to do that.”
Ze vervolgt: “It takes your kids getting sick to be like, ‘OK, none of this matters. I wanna see my kids grow up. That’s what I want.’ I want to only put truth into the world. I want to only be authentic. And I want to be kinder and a better person.” Dit jaar komt PINK met haar Summer Carnival naar Nederland. Ze is namelijk de eerste headliner van Pinkpop 2023, waar ze de festivalvrijdag zal afsluiten. Er is nog geen teaser van de nieuwe single.
