Paul McCartney heeft niet alleen een nieuw album uit, maar ook een verse single: ‘Find my way’. Man, man, man, wat een plaat! Het lijkt wel of oude tijden herleven. Op de plaat ‘McCartney III’ bespeelt Paul alle instrumenten zelf. “Ram meets Folklore’, is een rake omschrijving van Rob Sheffield van de Rolling Stone. “ I will sometimes, as I did with a couple of songs on this album, sit down at the piano and just start noodling around, and I’ll get a little idea and start to fill that out. So the lyrics — for me, it’s following a trail, “ aldus Paul. “ I’ll start [sings ‘Find My Way’]: “I can find my way. I know my left from right, da da da.” And I’ll just sort of fill it in. Like, we know this song, and I’m trying to remember the lyrics.
McCartney zou op 29 mei een optreden geven in het Nijmeegse Goffertpark, maar vanwege het coronavirus werd daar een streep door gehaald. Er is nog geen nieuwe datum gepland.
