Macklemore levert deze week zijn nieuwe single GOOD OLD DAYS af! Ook ditmaal liet hij zijn mate Ryan Lewis thuis. Het is na “Glorious” (deze week nieuw binnen in de Nederlandse charts) opnieuw een voorproefje van zijn soloalbum “Gemini”, dat op 22 september uitkomt. Nou, helemaal solo werkt hij niet, want voor de voacals van GOOD OLD DAYS riep hij ditmaal de hulp van Kesha in. Over zijn samenwerking met de zangeres meldt Macklemore: “She’s a musician, she’s a writer, she’s someone that is not afraid to try ideas in the studio, not afraid to get vulnerable in front of people, not scared to go for the high note when she doesn’t know if she can hit it or not. She is a musician in every sense of the word, and she’s hilarious.”
