Foo Fighters – No Son of Mine

Met ‘Shame shame’ staan Foo Fighters genoteerd in de Top 40. Intussen is huin nieuwe single verschenen. En: ‘No son of mine’ mag dan nog wel net uit zijn, het staat deze week gelijk vers op de 3FM playlist.  De single is het tweede voorproefje van Foo Fighters tiende album ‘Medicine At Midnight’, dat verschijnt op 5 februari.  “This is the kind of song that just resides in all of us and if it makes sense at the time, we let it out,” zegt Dave Grohl in een statement, “Lyrically it’s meant to poke at the hypocrisy of self righteous leaders, people that are guilty of committing the crimes they’re supposedly against…”
