Hoewel Foals met ‘2001’ nog veel airplay vergaard op 3FM en NPO Radio 2, lanceert de band vandaag de opvolger: ‘Crest of the wave’. Het is alweer de 5e single van het aankomende album ‘Life is yours’. Lang hoef je daar niet meer op te wachten: de plaat verschijnt op 17 juni. Frontman Yannis Philippakkis over het album: “I feel that with ‘Everything Not Saved…’ we touched upon all of the facets of our sound up until that point. This time we wanted to find a new way to express ourselves. We wanted to refocus and do something that shared a DNA throughout the songs: a physicality, a danceability, and with energy and joyousness. It’s definitely the poppiest record we’ve ever made.”
