Dit jaar zal alles anders zijn voor Groot Brittannië, want het land komt eindelijk met een pre-selectie voor het Eurovisie Songfestival die er weer eens zijn mag! De BBC heeft vandaag de kandidaten en liedjes bekend gemaakt voor ‘You Decide’, want zo heet de Britse nationale finale. Er zijn 6 kandidaten en onze absolute favoriet is Jaz Ellington met zijn song “You”. Zijn bijdrage is geschreven door Laura White, Herman Gardarfve & Ashley Hicklin. Jay meldt dat “You”: “is a story of two people in a relationship. The person telling the story compares everything his partner does, to the one he truly loves. It’s beautiful and yet sad at the same time, I just love it.” De finale vindt plaats op 7 februari en wordt gepresenteerd door Mel Giedroyc en Måns Zelmerlöw via BBC2.
