2023 begint met enkele verrassende samenwerkingen en daar is deze release er één van. Cheat Codes riep namelijk de hulp in van niemand minder dan country queen Dolly Parton, voor hun nieuwe single ‘Bets on us’. Helemaal toevallig is de samenwerking niet, omdat country deel gaat uitmaken van het vierde Cheat Codes album ‘One night in Nashville’. O.a. ook Lady A, Russell Dickerson, MacKenzie Porter en Brett Young werken aan de plaat mee, die op 27 januari zal uitkomen.
Cheat Codes zegt in een statement: “We’ve been talking about this country album for a while now… and it’s FINALLY DONE. the list of collaborators on this is completely insane (DOLLY PARTON?!) and we couldn’t be more thankful to everyone involved. we’ve always just wanted to keep pushing electronic music forward.. so being able to work with these artists and blend their sound with ours has been such a rad experience.” Dolly schreef ook mee aan ‘Bets on us’, deze week vers in de TIP 40.
