2022 belooft een succesvol jaar te worden voor Bastille. ‘Shut of the lights’, de actuele single, is een grote hit en intussen komt de band rond Dan Smith met een nieuwe single: ‘Run into trouble’. Voor deze track werd Bastille samen met de Braziliaanse dance music icoon Alok. ‘Run into trouble’ staat los van het laatste album ‘Give me the future’ van Bastille, dat twee maanden terug uitgebracht werd. Bastille: Bastille zegt over de samenwerking met Alok: “We’re massive fans of crying-on-the-dancefloor sad bangers and had such a good time bringing this one to life with ALOK. We love the euphoria that he’s brought to it and can’t wait to play this tune live over the summer.”
Op dinsdag 5 april 2022 keert Bastille terug naar de Ziggo Dome als onderdeel van de Give Me The Future Tour! Tijdens deze shows krijgen fans de kans om het langverwachte vierde album voor het eerst live te horen. Dan Smith zegt hierover: “We’re all massively excited to head out on tour with this new album that we love. After everything that’s happened over the last couple of years, we’re buzzing to play for everyone at these brilliant venues and can’t wait to have some fun back on the road again… here’s to gigging in 2022.”
