Vandaag lanceert Troye Sivan zijn nieuwe singel ‘Honey’. Het nummer staat op de gelijknamige EP met meerdere remixen van Mura Masa. Over het ontstaan van het nummer zegt Sivan tegenover Apple Music: “ ‘Honey’ started in Melbourne with [producer] Styalz Fuego and the Serenity Prayer. My dad taught it to me when I was a kid. One of the lines is something like ‘Give me the courage to accept things I cannot change.’ I love the idea of having these really strong feelings for someone and not knowing how to express them, and almost saying a prayer—even though I’m very irreligious. ‘Give me the courage to say all these things I feel about you.’ It just felt very joyous, like the confetti moment at the show.”
Troye Sivan komt binnenkort naar Nederland met zijn Something To Give Each Other Tour! Wegens de grote vraag naar kaarten is de show van Sivan in AFAS Live verplaatst naar Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam. De datum van het concert, donderdag 20 juni, blijft hetzelfde. Reeds gekochte kaarten blijven geldig voor het concert in Ziggo Dome. Zeker en vast gaat Sivan ‘Honey’ daar zingen voor zijn fans.
