The Wombats hebben hun nieuwe singel ‘My Head Is Not My Friend’ uitgebracht. Het nummer is een voorbode van hun aankomende zesde studioalbum Oh! The Ocean. De Britse band uit Liverpool kondigde onlangs hun enorme UK & European Tour aan in maart en april 2025, waarbij ze hun grootste headline shows tot nu toe spelen. Op 30 maart spelen The Wombats in Tilburg (Poppodium 013) en 31 maart in Amsterdam (Paradiso). Over hun nieuwe singel zegt de band op X: “Not the jolliest of songs around Christmas time, but very real and raw. It’s a song about hungover regret and perhaps not having my best interests at heart throughout that time. 🌊”.
