Als Caro Emerald veroverde Caroline Van der Leeuw de wereld met nummers als ‘Back it up’, ‘A night like this’ en ‘Stuck’. Haar debuutalbum ‘’Deleted Scenes From The Cutting Room Floor’ werd bekroond met platina en ook haar andere album ‘The Shocking Miss Emerald’ behaalde edelmetaal. Tegenwoordig noemt zij zich The Jordan en kondigt ze haar eerste album aan: ‘Nowhere Near The Sky’. Deze plaat verschijnt op 10 februari 2023 via Cooking Vinyl/V2 Records. Als voorproefje lanceert The Jordan de nieuwe single ‘Best damn time’.
Over haar nieuwe single zegt de zangeres: “‘Best Damn Day’ is a personal anthem of freedom. It’s about taking the risk to radically change course, even though you don’t know where it’s leading. But hell… at least you tried.”
