The Fratellis heeft de video voor ‘Six Days In June’ onthuld, de eerste single van het nieuwe album ‘Half Drunk Under A Full Moon’ van de band, dat op 30 oktober verschijnt op Cooking Vinyl. In Nederland kennen we The Fratellis vooral van hun hit ‘Chelsea Dagger’. De video voor ‘Six Days in june’ is geregisseerd door Connor O’Hara, die acteurs Hannah Dodd en Rory J. Saper (‘Find Me In Paris’) wist te strikken.
“I think we have a history of writing songs that on first listen make absolutely no sense but if you dig a little deeper there are some concrete themes to be found,” aldus Jon Fratelli. “Six Days In June carries on that tradition and the video has also followed the same path, a little strange but hopefully ultimately engaging.”
