Sophie Ellis-Bextor brengt op 2 juni haar nieuwe album ‘HANA” uit. Na ‘Breaking the circle’, genoteerd in de Hitzound Top 40, volgt vandaag de opvolger: ‘Lost in the sunshine’. De single ging vanmorgen in première op BBC Radio 2. Sophie zegt over het nummer: “It’s a song about a lazy, hazy, hot, romantic, perfectly sunny day with the one you love… I can’t wait for you to hear it”. Voor het aankomende album was Sophie geïnspireerd door een reis naar Japan. ‘Hana’ betekent in het Japans dan ook zoiets al bloesem. Daar past ‘Lost in the sunshine’ helemaal bij . . . .
