Het album bevat gastbijdrages van onder meer Tyler, the Creator, Chassol, Playboi Carti, Standing on the Corner, Panda Bear, Devin the Dude en The-Dream. Ook zijn er samples te horen van Third Wall’s Debbie Allen, Phylicia Rashad, dichter Pat Parker en Scarface. ‘When I Get Home’ is de opvolger van het veelgeprezen album ‘A Seat at the Table’ uit 2016.
