Van hun debuut album “Treehouse” dropt Sofi Tukker de video van hun nieuwe single “Benadryl”. Het duo uit New York, bestaande uit Sophie Hawley-Weld en Tucker Halpern (snap je precies hoe ze aan hun artiestennaam komen!), brak door met “Drinkee” in 2016, maar met “Good Times” (2017) pakten ze een dikke internationale hit. Dát nummer staat trouwens ook op hun debuut, net als o.a. “Batshit”. Leuk detail: drie tracks zingen ze in het Portugees; Sophie: “I think it’s really sexy and I love the way it sounds in music. I was singing in Portuguese before I really knew the language and then I was like, ‘I should start to understand what I’m saying.’ So I went and studied and spent some time in Brazil to learn!” In augustus check je Sofi Tukker op het uitverkochte Lowlands.
