Sam Smith dropt ‘Diamonds’ video op 18 september

Op 18 september komt de nieuwe single uit van Sam Smith! Dan lanceert de Britse artiest het nummer ‘Diamonds’. De release volgt op o.a. het duet ‘I’m ready’ uit april met Demi Lovato. Het aankomende studioalbum van Smith (en opvolger van ‘The thrill of it all) is vertraagd vanwege het corona virus. Het derde album zou de titel ‘To die for’ meekrijgen, maar dat is niet passend, aldus Sam.  “I have done a lot of thinking the last few weeks and feel that the title of my album and imminent release doesn’t feel right. I have come to the decision to continue working on the album and make some important changes and additions.” Sam Smith`s laatste release was ‘Oasis’ met Burna Boy. Met hem scoorde Sam overigens in 2013 ook de eerste hit: ‘La la la’. Met ‘Diamonds’ staat Sam Smith intussen genoteerd in de TIP 40!
