Ryan Tedder, Avril Lavigne en Luis Fonsi bundelen hun krachten voor de Special Olympics anthem. Het nummer heet ‘Right Were I Am’ en wordt a.s. donderdag gezongen tijdens de openingsceremonie in de Zayed Sports City Stadium in Abu Dhabi. Ook Hussain Al Jassmi, Tamer Hosny & Assala Nasri werken aan de single mee. Vandaag gaat de track in première.
“We have spent a lot of time on the lyrics and the track as we wanted it to be uplifting and inspiring without being too preachy,” zegt Ryan Tedder in een statement. “This is the kind of stuff I would want to hear, sitting in a stadium full of people. Fingers crossed that everyone will like it.” Greg Wells, Ryan Tedder en Nina Woodford schreven het nummer voor de Special Olympics.
