Vandaag lanceren Pet Shop Boys hun nieuwe singel! De track heet ‘Feel’ en is de vierde singel van hun album ‘Nonetheless’. Eerder verschenen al ‘Loneliness’, ‘Dancing star’ en de huidige Hitzound 40 hit ‘A new bohemia’. Hun nieuwe singel verschijnt min of meer als een digitale EP met 5 songs , waaronder het nooit eerder uitgebrachte ‘Everybody will dance’. Een CD singel versie van ‘Feel’ komt uit op 27 september.
Over hun laatste album zeggen de Pet Shop Boys: “We wanted this album to be a celebration of the unique and diverse emotions that make us human,” zeggen Neil Tennant en Chris Lowe in een pers verklaring. “From the more dance-orientated tracks to the raw poignancy of the introspective ballads, with their beautiful string arrangements, each track tells a story and contributes to the overall narrative of the album.” Voor de plaat werkte het duo voor het eerst samen met James Ford.
Daarover zeggen ze: “It was great to work with James Ford, who we think has brought new elements to our music. James has dared to make us a bit more minimal at times and the final result is a record we’re very proud of.” De singel ‘Feel’ van Pet Shop Boys staat intussen vers op de playlist Brand New.😊
