Mike & The Mechanics brengen op 6 april hun album ‘Out Of The Blue’ uit. De plaat wordt voorafgegaan door de titelsong, dat nu verkrijgbaar is op single. Op het album staan nieuwe versies van gouwe ouwe hits als ‘The Living Years’ en ‘Over My Shoulder’ maar ook 3 brand new trsacks, waaronder ‘Out Of the Blue’.
Mike Rutherford legt uit: “Having toured with the Mechanics over the last 10 years, I have heard the old songs change a bit each year with Andrew Roachford and Tim Howar singing and the same band playing. In some cases they have been extended and developed, so it seemed a good idea to record these versions in the studio.
