“Back On The Dancefloor” is de nieuwe single van Mark Knopfler. Na drie jaar is hij terug! Het nummer is een afkomstig van zijn 14 tracks tellende album “Down The Road Wherever”. Over een paar weken komt de plaat, waarvan we het nummer “Good On You Son” al kennen, uit. Na de album release volgt een album tour, waarover Knopfler in een statement zegt:
“My songs are made to be performed live. I love the whole process of writing them alone and then recording them with the band, but ultimately the best part is playing them to an audience live. I enjoy the whole circus, travelling from town to town and interacting with this group of players is a total pleasure. I’m really looking forward to it.”
