Vers op de Spotify playlist Brand New staat Lindsey Buckingham met ‘On The Wrong Side’, de tweede single van zijn aankomende album ‘Lindsey Buckingham’. Het nieuwe nummer omschrijft Buckingham als een reflectie op “the peaks and valleys of life on the road with Fleetwood Mac”. De nieuwe plaat telt naast ’On the wrong side’ (die naadloos aansluit op de sound van Fleetwood Mac) en ‘I don`t mind’ acht andere tracks waaronder ‘Time’, een cover van de ‘60s folk groep Pozo-Seco Singers.
“I wanted to make a pop album,” zegt Buckingham, “but I also wanted to make stops along the way with songs that resemble art more than pop. As you age, hopefully you keep getting a little more grounded in the craft of what you’re doing,” he continued. “For me, getting older has probably helped to reinforce the innocence and idealism that hopefully was always there.” Het album komt uit op 17 september via Reprise Records.
