De Schot Lewis Capaldi staat nog aan het begin van zijn carrière. Zijn debuutsingle “Bruises” deed het bepaald niet slecht: in 10 weken tijd scoorde het nummer 15 miljoen streams. Tweede single van de 20-jarige singer-songwriter heet LOST ON YOU. Op de vraag, wat de overeenkomsten zijn van beie songs meldt Lewis: “I wouldn’t say the songs are connected in anyway, they’re both about relationships but lost on you is more about feeling as though you can’t make someone happy no matter how much you try or how much you want to make things work.”
