Op 17 februari verschijnt White Feather Hawk Tail Deer Hunter, de nieuwe single van Lana Del Rey. Het nummer is de voorloper van haar aankomende album Stove. Productie is in handen van Jack Antonoff en Drew Erickson. Lana schreef het nummer samen met haar echtgenoot Jeremy Dufrene, haar zwager en haar zus Caroline “Chuck” Grant. De mix werd verzorgd door Laura Sisk en Dean Reid.
Over de single zei ze letterlijk tegen haar fans: “I just wanted to make a little message and let you know that my new single, the one I’ve been waiting for, ‘White Feather Hawk Tail Deer Hunter,’ is coming out on the 17th. I really want you to focus on this single. I’m really happy about it. Finally going to be out.”
Ook over het album was ze duidelijk: “You’re asking about the record, but honestly, soon, because vinyl takes three months. So we have three months plus two weeks. It could be give or take.”
Stove volgt op Did You Know That There’s a Tunnel Under Ocean Blvd en krijgt mogelijk een country-inslag, na eerdere singles als Henry, Come On en Bluebird. Chartgegevens zijn op dit moment nog niet beschikbaar; release volgt op 17 februari.
