Night and day’ is de gloednieuwe single van Johnny Marr. Je kent de Britse muzikant vooral als gitarist/toetsenist/muziekschrijver van The Smiths. Zijn nieuwe solo track is een voorbode van het album ‘Fever Dreams Pts 1-4’, dat op 25 februari gaat uitkomen. Op de backing vocals (en bass) hoor je Primal Scream’s Simone Marie. Over zijn aankomende album, onthulde Marr tegenover NME: “It felt like a big undertaking, and I think it sounds like a big undertaking. For me, the album and the whole experience has been expansive, ironically – at a time that’s been so much about seclusion. The ideas and the sound reflect that.”
