Het was bijna vier jaar stil rond The Foals, maar ze zijn helemaal terug met hun nieuwe single ‘Moonlight’. Vandaag gaat de clip in première. Eerder deze maand brachten de mannen o.a. al de nummers ‘On The Luna’ en ‘White Onions’ uit. Alle drie songs maken deel uit van het album ‘Everything Not Saved Will Be Lost, part 1’, dat afgelopen vrijdag uitkwam. En het kan niet op: dit voorjaar komen ze naar Nederland. Op 19 mei spelen ze in Paradiso.
Over “Moonlight” zeggen The Foals: ‘It sets the tone, but it’s also not necessarily what people might expect after What Went Down … I wanted it to feel like it’s the entry point into the world. Like it’s one of those cheesy ‘60s TV graphics where the whole screen goes wobbly.’
