DJ Eliza Rose heeft in Engeland de eerste plaats bereikt met haar dance hit BOTA (Baddest Of Them All). Daarmee is ze de 1400e nummer 1 in de Official Charts. De allereerste was bijna 70 jaar eerder Al Martino met ‘Here in my heart’. De uit Londen afkomstige Eliza Rose legt uit hoe de track tot stand kwam: “[Manchester-based DJ and producer] Interplanetary Criminal sent me the song when I’d been really busy and putting off writing loads of tracks. So I wrote the ‘do you wanna dance, baby?’ line really quickly, in about five minutes. But then it was a bit too cutesy: I liked that element because I wanted that ‘90s nostalgia, but then I felt it needed some grittiness, too.” In het nummer ‘BOTA’ is een sample verwerkt van de Amerikaanse garage classic Let The Beat Hit ‘Em’.
