‘Not at this party’ is de nieuwe singel van Dasha. De Amerikaanse zangeres scoorde vorig jaar een wereldwijde hit met ‘Austin’. Zo haalde ze met de singel de 2e plaats in de Hitzound 40. ‘Austin’ is intussen bijna 800.000.000 maal gestreamd op Spotify. De singel leverde Dasha o.a. een platina plaat op in Australië, Nieuw Zeeland en Engeland. “‘Not At This Party’ was a title I’d been carrying around for a while,” aldus Dasha. “It’s about that universal experience of being out with friends, but mentally checked out. When I wrote it with Ashley Gorley and Ben Johnson, I was going through something with a guy, and the song just flowed. We really tried to capture that mix of distraction and guilt in the song.”
Dasha komt binnenkort naar Nederland! Ze is één van de headliners die optreedt tijdens de vierde editie van C2C: Country to Country, Europa’s grootste countryfestival. Dit festival keert op zaterdag 8 maart en zondag 9 maart 2025 terug naar Rotterdam. O.a. ook Lainey Wilson, Midland en Nate Smith staan in de line-up.
