Cigarettes After Sex keert terug in de spotlights! Op 25 oktober verschijnt hun tweede studioalbum ‘Cry’. De plaat is opgenomen op het Spaanse Mallorca. Als voorproefje lanceert de band het nummer ‘Heavenly’, dat vandaag is uitgeroepen tot Annie Mac’s ‘Hottest Record’ tijdens haar BBC Radio 1 show.
Frontman Gonzalez legt Hitzound uit: “The sound of this record is completely tied to the location for me. Ultimately, I view this record as a film. It was shot in this stunning, exotic location, and it stitches all these different characters and scenes together, but in the end is really about romance, beauty & sexuality.
