Met haar nieuwste single kiest Christina Aguilera opnieuw voor het Spaans! Op donderdag 18 november komt het nummer ’Somos nada’ uit, wat in het Engels zoveel betekent als ‘We are nothing’. Met de single gaat Christina terug naar haar Latijns-Amerikaanse roots en de herinneringen die ze heeft aan haar grootouders. Christina: “There’s nothing like Latin love, and it’s so reminiscent for me to be around the language being spoken. It’s very nostalgic for me. It reminds me of my childhood. It didn’t feel like it was business. It felt like it was just a labour of love.”
Er komt veel nieuw Spaanstalig materiaal aan van de zangeres. “We recorded so much that I have music for three different albums”, aldus Christina Aguilera. “It was such a productive process; everything flowed perfectly every day.”
