‘Jaime’ is het debuutalbum van Brittany Howard, frontvrouw en gitariste van de band Alabama Shakes. ‘Jaime’ is vernoemd naar haar overleden zus. Brittany: “The title is in memoriam, and she definitely did shape me as a human being. But, the record is not about her. It’s about me. I’m pretty candid about myself and who I am and what I believe. Which is why I needed to do it on my own.” Howard staat op dit moment genoteerd in de TOP 40 met ‘Stay High’, dat vorige week alsnog werd uitgeroepen tot Topsong op NPO Radio 2. ‘Georgia’ is haar nieuwe single.
