The Blessed Madonna dropt woensdag 14 augustus een nieuwe singel. De Amerikaanse DJ en producer riep voor ‘Edge of Saturday night’ de hulp in van Kylie Minogue. We kennen The Blessed Madonna vooral van de hit ‘Marea (We’ve Lost Dancing)’ uit 2021 met Fred Again… In een statement zegt The Blessed Madonna over ‘Edge of saturdaynight’:
“This song is about edges. I started this song when we were on the edge of lockdown, writing lyrics on the edge of being a new person, on the edge of levelling up as a producer. The song went on a journey but finally found its edge when Kylie came into my life and breathed an energy into Edge, and into me. So here we are together”.
