Blaudzun – V2 Records
Hoewel hartje winter, verrast Blaudzun zijn fans met een nieuwe singel met de titel ‘Summer song’. Het opzwepende nummer met de herkenbare sound van Blaudzun volgt op de singel ‘Dreamers’ en het laatste album ‘LONELY CITY EXIT WOUNDS’. Blaudzun speelt het nummer al een tijdje in zijn huidige tour NY-Rio-Berlin. De boodschap achter het nummer? “I’m not a magical thinker. But sometimes I think there is a causal connection between the delay of summer and the fact that there are people who keep their Christmas decorations hanging until well into April without putting them away. With that foolish idea in my head, I wrote ‘Summer Song’, aldus Blaudzun. De band werkt intussen aan een nieuw album, waarvoor een aantal nieuwe songs klaar zijn, zoals zijn verse singel ‘Summer song’.
