Blanco Brown dropt de video voor ‘The Git Up’. Hij heef de country trap nu ook omarmt met zijn nieuwe single ‘The Git Up’. Vorig jaar tekende Brown een platendeal met Broken Bow Records/BMG. Namens het label legt Jon Loba uit: “We thought, ‘[“The Git Up”] is an insane song,” Loba says. “It can be viral. Let’s put our toe in the water immediately with everything happening with [Lil Nas X], and then we’ll follow it up with the meat of the EP.” Jammer dat het label zo lang heeft gewacht met de video, want de single zakt al lang terug in de charts.
