Suprise! Zomaar uit het niets lanceert Billie Eilish de EP ‘Guitar songs’ met de nummers ‘TV’ en ‘The 30th’. De twee singles zijn het eerste geluid sinds haar succesvolle album ‘Happier Than Ever’ uit 2021. De songs schreef Billy wederom samen met haar broer. Billie legt uit: “Finneas and I really wanted these to be yours as soon as possible. So here they are!! Performing “TV” on tour was such a highlight for us too, so we took the audio from the first night we played it in Manchester and put it in the song. I get shivers every time I hear it. Hope you love the songs and thank you for letting us share our music with you.” Het nummer ‘TV’ is een breakup song, waarin Billie zich herhaaldelijk afvraagt of zij daarbij misschien het probleem was. Vooral als het publiek aan het einde van de song ‘Maybe I’m the problem’ meezingt, klinkt het heel indrukwekkend.
